1950s-60s Vintage Kay Tenor Banjo 4 String with Original Case.  Excellent condition.  It doesn't appear to have been played much in the past 60 to 70 years.  It is so clean.  I see no discernible fret wear or obvious scratches to show that it was played.  The cardboard case is original and looks as though it was used to store the banjo.  The case has some minor condition issues, such as rippling along the top and the usual storage wear that these cardboard cases are subject to.
The 2nd string tuner is a little stiff.  It works, but it definitely feels less smooth than the other three - all of which turn easily and smoothly.   It has new strings.  The action is very nice.  And, with the coordinator rod in the back of the banjo, the neck is very easy to adjust.   It is an open back, 4-string, tenor banjo and she's a beaut!  Someone used a ball point pen to mark a line where the bridge is supposed to go (see photo)
