    Description

    Welcome To Trader-Bobs Ebay Auctions. Allow me to introduce myself. I am a professional ebay seller.     Trader-BOB's MUSIC offers 1970's no name 5 string resonator banjo, made in Japan.  Dismantled, hand polished. 10" synthetic head, 30 tension hooks, all hardware matches. Polished in a rock tumbler, using crushed walnut shells for the medium.  Reassembled, new strings, professionally setup, PLAY READY. The wooden parts, neck, and body have the original finish. 22 fret non-reinforced neck has .0135" neck relief / bow, quite respectable. With .120" string action height at the 22nd fret. No fret buzz. Some minor wear on the fretboard, and fret wires.  Unusual covered tuners, all work fine. The badge on the back of the headstock  states, "Made in Japan", but the model number was never stamped into it. There is a slight trace on an emblem at one time being on the front of the headstock.  I believe it's a Harmony, I have had several banjos with these oval shaped washers, at the tension hook lugs, all Harmony.  These open back banjos are sometimes referred to as "Dixieland" banjos. Sounds and plays great. PLAYER Comes in a chipboard hard case. Case in good shape. Read my feedback, buy with
