Description
This banjo is all original and has upgraded amber tuner buttons.  The original buttons are in the case so this banjo does have all original parts.  This also has the original Gibson Hardshell Case.
The Earl Scruggs Standard is the best selling model of Gibson Banjo and is a copy of the banjo played by Earl Scruggs.  The original Scruggs Banjo was a Pre War Gibson Granada which had nickel hardware and an ebony fretboard with Hearts and Flowers.  That is what this banjo is.  This design produces a lot of pop and bang and some killer volume and tone.  This particular banjo is a fantastic example of the Scruggs Banjo.
The neck and resonator are curly maple and the fretboard is ebony.  The hardware is nickel and all original including a Gibson USA Kulesh Tone Ring and a Gibson USA one piece flange.  The fretboard has Hearts and Flowers inlay which looks great.  Right now the buttons on the tuners are amber which looks great but I want to mention the original Factory Gibson Tuner Buttons are in the case.
This also includes an original Gibson Hardshell Case.
Condition
This is in fantastic shape and has been professionally cleaned at Banjo Warehouse.  This has been disassembled and all of the hardware has been buffed with a high powered buffer to a nice shine.  The finish is in fantastic shape and has been waxed as well and really shines as well.  The frets are in fantastic shape and there are spikes at frets 7 and 9.  The case is super clean as well.
Set Up
This has been set up with a new Huber frosted head which is set to 90.  The bridge is a Scorpion Bridge and this has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings.  This banjo is a fantastic model to begin with and has been cleaned and set up so it looks, sounds and plays wonderfully.
