This is an all original and clean 2007 Gibson Earl Scruggs Standard.  This has been fully inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description
The Earl Scruggs Standard is the most popular model of Gibson Banjo.  This is a copy of the banjo that was played for years by Earl and is a Granada with nickel, and an ebony fretboard.  There is a type of tone, volume and attack that can only be achieved with an Earl Scruggs Standard and this is why it is so popular.
This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell.  The neck and resonator are curly maple each with a nice flame.  The hardware is all nickel including an original Gibson tone ring and a Gibson USA one piece flange.  This has an ebony fretboard with a Hearts and Flowers inlay that has one extra inlay at the first fret.  This is because Earl had an extra inlay at the first fret.  This is a gorgeous, all original, classic and super popular banjo that also has the original Gibson Hardshell Case.
Condition
This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.  We disassembled the banjo and buffed all of the metal to a nice shine.  The finish looks incredible with almost no sign of use and also has a nice shine. The neck and fretboard are also in great shape.  The frets are in overall great shape with just the first few frets showing some wear.  This has no functional issues, no buzzing, this is in top condition for performance.  The label on the inside has the serial number written in sharpie but that is on the inside.  This is a gorgeous banjo in great shape with a clean original case.
Set Up
This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.  This has a new Huber frosted head which is set to 90 on a drum dial.  The bridge is a Dotson Bridge and is set with correct intonation.  This has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and this plays great.  The banjo is also adjustable with 2 coordinator rods and a truss rod.
This is a phenomenal instrument that was also made near the end of Gibson Banjo Production.  Scruggs Standards are hard to find and this is a fantastic example of one.
