Description
This is a Granada that was made in 2008 but this one has copper flashing on the hardware like a jd crowe blackjack.  This banjo has a receipt from Janet Davis that is for Bill Emerson  and the details of the banjo are all laid out on the receipt.  Not only did Bill Emerson own this banjo it looks like he had this custom made.  This thing is cool.
This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell with a curly maple neck and resonator.  The finish and curl on this banjo are extraordinary, there was definitely more effort put into this banjo then normal.  The fretboard is rosewood with hearts and flowers and there is w/b/w binding on each side of the neck and resonator.
The hardware is copper flashed which also has a layer of gold on top of the copper.  This creates an antique look and also really makes a banjo BANG AND POP.  This banjo will peel the paint off the walls and strip out all the wood underneath.
I really do believe this is the only one of these that exists but I have no way to prove that.  No matter what this is very rare and I don’t think this made standard production.  This is is in fantastic shape with a super clean original case, the original warranty paperwork and original receipt.
