    Description

    A Flint Hill 300 5 String Banjo.
    After extensive investigation and research, I purchased this banjo in 2008 off the internet from Beyond Guitars, Concord Calif. I determined that this instrument had the best sound for the price. This was exhibited by a sound recording demo of the very same instrument, recorded by the banjo teacher at the music store. I have basic banjo skills  and had several books on how to play.Enough basic skills to to invent a banjo track to support my efforts in the recording studio. The Flinthill FBH 300 Banjo tone is excellent   and has a 20 hole/ cast bell bronze tone ring. It has a nice looking orange sunburst mahogany resonator  and a very playable neck. The instrument has only a couple of blemishes and some modest signs of playable usage, but the banjo eccentually looks almost brand new. Please check out the Photos...There is a slight flaw on the 12th fret , a square inlay, that appears to be depressed slightly deeper on the fret, but not enough to effect the to sound or playability of the instrument. I love the sound of this banjo , but I need to  let it go to the hands of a more enthusiastic player. A good Looking , very playable banjo that comes with a nice clean hardshell case and banjo strap.
