Obviously manufactured long before this date
Relay was operating as intended and removed from service in the early 70's
This relay was used in an early style Hot Box (hot axle) Detector in Colton, Calif.
It developed a 60 cycle signal from a low voltage battery bank (DC)
This was to insure signal present even during commercial power outage.
