ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE BEAUTIFUL INLAID WOOD 4 STRING BANJO UKULELE GROVER PEGS WOW !

Recent estate sale find here in North Carolina. I know nothing about musical instruments, but I had to admire the beautiful inlaid craftsmanship on the piece. I believe this is a 4 string banjo. The only identifying mark I see is Grover patent on the pegs. The instrument measures about 21" long and the diameter is about 7 1/8". The paper is loose over the metal insert, and one string is broken. If anything, this would be a nice display wall piece for any collector. Any information on this instrument would be appreciated.
