The person I got this from told me it was  removed it from a caboose when they worked for the railroad.  I didn't bother trying to clean it cause I don't have the right cleaners to do so.  No obvious dents or cracks in the glass. I forgot to measure it but you can see my hand in one of the images to help with scale. My guess is around 5-6 inches.  The valva gauge is double boxed for it's protection during shipment.
