This banjo has a wonderful tonal quality that few other instruments from this era have the ability to offer. This is a late 1940’s era instrument in very good - excellent condition. This unit was produced by the Gretsch corporation and certainly is a one of the top of the line in relation to vintage banjo instruments although there are others of higher expense and similar sound qualities. The banjo will ship in the original hard case although we do use sheet styrofoam to protect high quality insulation during the shipping process. We have made updates from the original listing as we have been finding more about this instrument from day one.
