Clarophone Piccolele 012 - Mini 21" Vintage 5 String Banjo w/HSC!

This is another "Piccolele", or a vintage Banjo Ukulele converted to a 5 string banjo, slightly smaller than Stewart's Piccolo banjos.
These Clarophones are probably  products from Oscar Schmidt of New Jersey in the 1920's.  Most of them have the "portholes" and the closed back as this one.
This banjo has a calfskin head in good working order and a bone nut and pip.
The back is has quite a lovely pronounced grain and there is one grain separation that is not a crack.  This may be visible in the photos.
The curious thing about these Clarophones is that they are surprisingly louder than one would think.  The portholes certainly have an effect.
This little banjo is a great player and ready for a new home!
I welcome international buyers as this banjo will be shipped in a deluxe hard shell case.
