The Responder II bag has a central section with an adjustable/removable Velcro divider with a built-in pocket. I have to carry a good first aid kit for Girl Scout meetings, events, etc. and wanted to expand on our standard kits for camping trips. I wanted a nice bag that was immediately identifiable as first aid and this did the trick. I was able to tuck our regular first aid kit inside and add to it with the side pockets and extra space in the main compartment. We added a CPR mask, burn gel, ace bandages, triangular bandages, a good set of tweezers, calamine lotion, and still have room to keep adding, which we plan to do. (Why is first aid stuff so expensive and no one makes a solid kit already done?!) The size is large enough to contain what we need for a group and I can put it into the bottom of my troop backpack and still have room for other essentials.

I'm not an EMT. I purchased this because most first aid kits are kind of small, IMO. This is a decent size. The foam insert doesn't really add any stability so I cut a piece of cardboard and placed it in the bag beneath the foam insert because I still like the dividers for organization. It serves the purpose that I purchased it for. Although, I?m not sure how great this bag would be for an EMT. Seems like it would be a little small so be sure to check out the dimensions before purchasing.

In all fairness, the listing does say how big the bag really is. This is a small bag for just a few items. I was hoping to put a med kit together and store it in this bag. It was smaller than I thought. The description of the bag clearly says what dimensions it has.
The bag is as shown in the stock photo. The bright color helps distinguish it from the other "junk" you may have in your trunk. It has inserts which I did not need. The handles and zipper are of decent quality.

Make sure to include a wrap in case there is a sprain. If you take a first aid class you will feel comfortable wrapping a sprain appropriately. Also, include gauze to cover open wounds. Include a medical tape that can be used to keep a wrap or gauze on the skin. Another important item is Band-Aids that can be used in case of minor scrapes and cuts. Also, include rubbing alcohol to clean out some open wounds. Hand sanitizer can be used to wash the hands of the person that will be treating the injury. Antibiotic cream is also good for cuts and scrapes. The list goes on for what is used in a first aid kit and those were just some of the important items needed for one.
First aid kits are necessary for every household no matter the age of who lives in the home. Injuries can happen anytime and anywhere. When you have a first aid kit within easy access of wherever you are you will ensure the safety of everyone. First aid can reduce infections from open wounds and injuries. It can also reduce the severity of an injury. You cannot always keep your family from getting hurt but you can protect them when they get injured with a first aid kit.
