This is an authentic Excello Records Promotional T-Shirt from the 1980's. The authentication is the fact that the label roster and label copy of Slim Harpo's "Baby Scratch My Back" (Excello's best-known release) are printed on the back, unlike the third-party knock-offs out there.
Nashville based Excello was a blues label founded by Ernie Young in 1953 as a subsidiary of Nashboro, a gospel label.
Made of 100% heavy cotton. It has never been worn or washed. No stains, tears or holes. Shows some aging around the edges from storage.
This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from Excello Records in the 1980's.
