2/63 General Motors Locomotives Electro-Motive Division EMD Builder's Locomotive Plate -
Just under 15" long and weighs about 12.6 ounces
DATE  2 - 63,
CLASS  0-4-4-0,
SERIAL  27858
Please research and decide for yourself, but I believe,
based on my (very) non-expert online research
that this is off of an EMD SW1200 (serial / builder number 27858)
locomotive that was originally Missouri Pacific MP 1190.  It
was retired by MoPac and sold to Precision National Corp. in Illinois in June 1985 and then in 1986 was sold to Wheeling-Pittsburg Steel Company in Ohio.  Shoot me a message if you'd like links to where I found this information.  Do a Google image search for "MP 1190" "Freeport, Texas" Cab Detail" for a photo of MP 1190.
