Doll: Ginny 1953:
( her back is marked Vogue Doll) She has a pink spot on her back that I will try and show on my photos - her hair could use a restyling - her lashes and eyebrows are very hard to see - her hat has flowers on it with a green velvet bow that goes under her neck. I think she is of the Debutante Series and her dress is #60 she does have the straw hat tied with green ribbon.

he does have the wrong shoes on and it says on the bottom Ginnette made in U.S.A.
Sleep Eyes:
( when she lays down her eyes close and you will have to physically open then when you pick her up.
(I talked to an antique dealer and  he said that was normal for the old Ginny Vogue dolls)
Wig: 1953
braided wig is thick, with a ribbon on each pig tail (braided)
Outfits: have the hook and eye closure

In 1953 Vogue utilized stencils to hand paint the lashes and brows on the dolls

It is a velvet green top ( there is several places where the velvet is missing) and the bottom looks to be
mint green silk and the hem has flowers with lace on the bottom. The dress has a little bouquet of flowers (that shows some
wear with two velvet sashes hanging from them. The tag on the dress says : Original Vogue Dolls Inc. in blue writing (Vogue
in script) on white rayon tag. ( I got this info from page 22  Collector's Encyclopedia Vogue Dolls second edition) Identification and values-

Off.  1954 to 1956 in black print on white rayon tag. It has the hook and eye closure - it is in great condition with no issues that I see.

It is like The #823 - 1953 - it is filled with night clothes: Nightgown- Robe- shoes-bath towel and tiny brush.
