We are offering a gorgeous high color 1952 strung 8" hard plastic Vogue Ginny doll
named "April", #24 of the Kindergarten Series.   She is all factory Vogue.  April is hard plastic, sleep eye, factory caracul wigged Ginny doll, marked Vogue Doll on her back.  She is a strung doll that has been restrung due to old rubber bands drying and getting loose, very typical and acceptable to the majority of collectors.   She has no breaks, all fingers intact and no touchups or generic replacements.  A sweet doll that could be the center of your collection if you love the factory caracul issued early Ginny's that wore some of the prettiest outfits such as this bright shadow print April outfit.  Please take a look and see if she isn't one you or a loved one might enjoy.  Colors may be slightly lighter or darker than some photos may show.

Wonderful high color Ginny April has the desirable brown eyes that do need assistance to open and close, but sometimes will close or open by themselves with a little coaxing by a shake or tap.   Her caracul wig is factory applied and wonderful in color (medium tosca reddish) and fullness; just gorgeous.   She has nice visible brows and lashes, that are the typical color of some of these early caracul wigged dolls (see photos).    She has  nice and visible rosy check color; all factory with no scrapes and no touchups.  April wears her beautiful crisp dress and matching panties; yellow with white shadow print and big bertha collar with decorative trim and collar edge and wonderful trim at the hemline, both still white as issued.  Sewn on factory ribbon at waist helps to complete the dress style and look with yellow bow on collar that matches her hair bow.  Her panties are perfect, great elastic in waist and legs; not stretched and a match to her dress.  Her stiff slip is excellent and vintage Vogue.  Her outfit has never been laundered, never ironed and we don't think it needs any attention, she is ready to display.   Her hair bow retains the original staple that once was stapled in her head when she came to us, so we left it and now have it pinned with a straight pin which has kept the bow in place.  We are including the  gold tone barrette too so that if you want to use that and attach to the bow,  you can in place of the straight pin.  The bow is in excellent plus condition and guaranteed vintage 1950's  factory Vogue and not any of the new ones being used from the 1980's and now. You can tell the difference once you have a few of the true originals.   Ginny April would  not be complete if it weren't for her wonderful white center snap oil cloth shoes near perfect with strong snaps holding well (no repairs) and smooth soles,  and nice overall look (small spot on right show inner side, see photo), yellow rayon vintage Vogue mint socks and her triangular Vogue purse.  She will come to you with the stand as well so you can display and enjoy her right away.
April is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner and quite a knock out we think, so please take a look.  We think most would be very pleased as you don't find her very often in this condition.  Crisp, clean, all Vogue except for having to be restrung.
