This Kay resonator banjo from the ‘70s has a story to tell!
You can tell right away when you see and play this banjo that someone poured there heart and soul into playing this instrument. Serious mojo
The action is nice and low, which paired with the light gauge strings, lets you play FAST!! The tone is loud, clear, and warm.
Notice the cool wooden arm rest and the intricate details on the resonator and headstock!
The instrument clearly has signs of playing (dirty head, belt rash on resonator, etc.), but in my opinion this only enhances its authenticity. This banjo is just begging to be played.
**It should also be noted that there is a little play in the neck joint, but I think it could be easily tightened up.
