The M12 fuel is the best oscillating tool Milwaukee makes, and that's after pitting it against the M18. It's smaller, lighter and has the exact same power. Factoring in that it's cheaper, it's a hard case for the M18. I've also compared this to its yellow competitor and it far exceeds it in ease of use. It cuts wood faster, gets through thick nails and has a 5 year as opposed to 3. If you need a multi-tool, the M12 is the best way to go.
