This is a brand New Mitch .38 Special Banjo which is a Joe Dean Signature model.  This is Made in USA.  This has been fully inspected at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description
Mitch Banjos are made by Mitch Meadors right here in the USA.  These are regarded as some of the best new Banjos being made and this is a special .38 special Joe Dean signature edition.
This has a block maple rim with nickel hardware.  The tone ring is a .38 special nickel plated no hole tone ring.  This is absolutely a stellar tone ring and this has a lot of bark and a lot of volume.  The neck and resonator are mahogany and this has a rosewood fretboard.  The fretboard has a Flying Eagle inlay pattern.  There is also white binding on each side of the neck and resonator.  The headstock has more Flying Eagle inlay along with the Mitch logo and a pearl truss rod cover bearing Joe Dean's signature.  The neck block on the fretboard reads .38 special and the label on the inside also has a feaux Joe Dean signature.
This banjo absolutely has got major Pre War tone and power.  It is amazing that this can be bought for 99.  This was made in America and was set up by Mitch Meadors himself.  This also includes an original Mitch hardshell case.
Condition
This is new as is the case.  They are both in new condition.  There are spikes at the 7th, 9th and 10th frets.
Set Up
We typically set up every banjo here but this was set up by Mitch Meadors at his shop.  This has a new Remo frosted head which has already had the tension professionally set.  The bridge is a Sosebee bridge and this has correct intonation.  The action is set very nicely and this banjo plays well with a lot of volume.  This is a stellar player.
This is one of the best possible values on a new American Made Banjo.  This has the Pre War sound that so many love and it's amazing to think this is only 00.  I'm sure as Mitch Banjos become more well known they will go up in value.
