Restored, vintage Orpheum banjo-mandolin

Description

Restored, vintage Orpheum banjo-mandolin.  SN 6512.  10 1/8” pot, 20shoes/hooks, nylon strings, scale length 13 ½”, action 1/8” at end offingerboard.  Yellowstone head,reproduction tailpiece.
Repairs:

reset neck

fingerboard extension was broken off.
Glued a metal plate under fingerboard, restoredextension, placed a new 12
th
fret at break location.

heel cap was missing, replaced w/ blackwalnut, tinted black.
*
Pot cap was missing.
Replaced w/ 8 sections of walnut, tinted “gunstock”
*
replaced missing dowel yoke wedges.
