This listing is for a vintage and authentic SAL RY Fire Bucket.
This was a fire bucket for the Seaboard Air Line Railway.
The bucket has some rust/pitting in the bottom of the cone. I am sure it was painted some time ago in an effort to store and preserve it.
The overall condition is good considering rarity and nature but it is far from mint. There is rusting and some through and through putting in the tip of the cone. One of the handles is hanging on by one pin there’s some rust there as well.
The cone is embossed SAL RY.
These were made to be stackable, and to take up as little space as possible.
This stands at about 13” in height with a diameter of 13.
