Seraphin 18 Fluid Oz Stainless Steel Lab Liquid Calibration Cylinder

Offered for your consideration is a unique and vintage Seraphin laboratory calibration stainless steel cylinder previously used in the soft drink bottling industry for testing and verification of the liquid product mix. It has the capacity of 18 fluid ounces.   It may have been in the lab of a bottling plant which was shuttered in the 1970s, making this precision instrument from the 60s or 70s. Note the calibration tag at the top of the cylinder.  The manufacturer of this calibration cylinder was the Seraphin Test Measure Company. Note what appears to be the serial number on the bottom of the base.  I am not certain of its value, so if you know more about this, please message me or make me an offer.   Here are a few specifics I have been able to determine from my research.
- Manufactured of Series 300 Stainless Steel
- Calibration by standards traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology
- Body of the cylinder is constructed of stainless steel and has an external gauge glass assembly consisting of a borosilicate gauge glass and easy-to-read aluminum scale plates
- Cylinder has a heavy stainless steel machined circular base that keeps the cylinder stable.
- Scale is continuous along the length of the body giving readings from the starting value to the nominal volume.
