This banjo was my fathers, used by him in his Dixieland Band named
"The Kentucky Kardinals". His band served as the ship band on the S S President Arthur (a cruise ship) on a Mediterranean cruise in 1928.
It is for sale because, as a result of hand surgery, and I can no longer make the cords to play it as it should be played. No family members play or have an interest in the banjo.
The case is not original but the stickers on the case are original and were placed on the case by my father.
The resonator is not original.
