Vega Tenor Banjo Tubaphone Style M for Irish Music

This is an original 1928 Vega Tubaphone Tenor banjo.  Serial # 82841 matching rim and dowel. The neck is straight, action set at 2mm on the first string 12th fret. Great classic 'banjo' sound. Original case.
This instrument was actually played by St. Patrick himself at the Saint Patrick's Day parade in New York, 1928... see photograph. He called me last night, asking if he could play it this St. Pats Day. I said I didn't think so, 'cause it was for sale, and I didn't know the buyer. But if you buy it and are of the hart to loan it to him for a day, just one day, I will let him know. He would be... well, in heaven, if you agreed.
