This is the Vintage 1970 Framus Germany 5-String Banjo.
27" scale. 1.17" nut width. 11" head diameter. 14" resonator. 7 lbs 1 oz.
.88"-1.06" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
Framus Germany has made some beautiful instruments and this banjo is no exception.
This banjo features a 27" scale, which, combined with the high mass pot, results in incredible natural resonance.
The resonator is flamed maple and the ornate flange makes for a beautiful aesthetic.
This Framus is in good overall condition as you can see in pics- there is typical patina and wear you'd expect on a 50 years old banjo, including what looks to be an old stress on the back of the neck (pic)- there is no movement there.
There is no case included, but we pack for safe arrival as well as insure in full.
