Description
Many of the Japanese banjos from the 1970's are regarded as professional quality instruments.  The White Eagle is an archtop that for the price is beyond superb.
This has a maple shell with a curly maple neck and resonator.  The fretboard is rosewood with a nice inlay pattern and white binding.  The resonator also has white binding.  The hardware is chrome and is all original including a 2 piece flange and archtop tone ring.
The neck heel has some carving which really sets the White Eagle apart.  This banjo not only is pro quality it is a work of art.  Includes an original hardshell case.
Condition
The banjo is definitely in fantastic shape.  There is some light scratching and a bit of fogging in the finish on the back of the resonator.  It's not bad but its there and worth noting.  Other then that the banjo shows little wear at all.
The hardware looks fantastic and is clean.  The frets and fretboard are also clean and this has no spikes or 5th string capo.  The banjo is in great shape with zero problems and looks great with a clean original case.
Set Up
This has a Remo frosted head which is set to 90.  The bridge is a quality bridge and this has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings.  This is a wonderful value on a Vintage Japanese Banjo and this looks great, plays great and sounds incredible!
