Vintage Antique American Folk Art 5 String Banjo For Display Or Restoration.An amazingly preserved example of early American culture and history.Mid to late 1800's fretless banjo intact except for pegs and bridge.Hand carved heel.Appears to have early Buckbee matching hardware,steam bent pot possibly grain measure construction.One missing inlay,may have been a later adaptation.This banjo is remarkably solid and would not take much to make a player or could be kept in it's as found state as a suitable artifact for historical display.Please contact with any questions you may have,thanks!
