Vintage lida 5 String Banjo 1980s?

Description

This beautiful lida 5 string banjo is probably from around 1980 & made in Japan. It's in lightly played condition & all original. The only changes are a new geared 5th string tuner & a Remo Weather King head. New strings & a 5/8s ebony/bone maple bridge. This is a long banjo at 40". The original closed geared tuners work great. The slightly tapered multi-ply hoop gives it a nice traditional woody ring. It's only about 6 lbs. There's some light scuffing of the clear finish on the back of the resonator, "buckle rash".
It's set up w/ a 1/8" clearance over the 12th fret wire.
This is a Great instrument for Bluegrass or what ever style of music you play.
